This course ensures you understand the relevant guidelines, regulations and Codes of Practice to safely assess and operate a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP). It also includes a series of practical exercises where you will apply and test your knowledge of hazards, risk management and operational skills.

People who successfully complete this course will be able to:

1. Demonstrate knowledge of types of MEWP's, their suitability for the purpose.

2. Demonstrate knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to Codes of practice and the use of MEWP's.

3. Operate an MEWP within following the manufacturer's recommendations and within the machine's intended specifications, in accordance with industry requirements.
